Epsom and Ewell Harriers is one of the oldest running clubs in Surrey, organising training and athletics events within the Epsom area since the 1890s!
Today the club is based at the Poole Road Athletics Track in the King George VI playing fields at Ewell Court. At the track is the Harrier Centre, which is our clubhouse, where there are changing/toilet facilities at the clubhouse as well as a club reception room. The club caters for all abilities and ages (from 11(?) up) and for all track and field athletics disciplines.
Training nights for Adults occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays nights at the Poole Road Track, but athletes often meet up to train other times in the week at other nearby locations on an informal basis, e.g. Epsom Downs.
The club competes in many leagues including Southern Men's and Women's League (Track and Field), Rosenheim League, Sweatshop Surrey Cross Country League, East Surrey League, Surrey Road League Southern Vets Track and Field League Ebbisham League Young Athletes League Lily B League. |
